Laurie Faria Stolarz

Three months ago, I nearly died

Camelia narrowly escaped a car accident: she is rescued by Ben, a mysterious boy who disappeared before she could thank him. Since then, Camelia not stop thinking about him, and the strange sensation when he touched her. However, when reviewing the high school, Ben avoids it. Rumored to have killed his ex-girlfriend. For its part, Camellia receives threatening letters. Why Can not resist her attraction to Ben? Can she really trust him?
This book waiting for me since its release in my library. Between one thing and another, I never had the time to start. I had just finished a novel and I wanted to start anything too long because I waited patiently for a partnership. However, I do not stay without playing. This book seemed to me to indicate the extent that it seemed not too long.

The story is very involved and this, from the first pages. The author presents the outset the two main characters, Ben and Camellia plant, already an atmosphere of mystery but mostly scary. It is seen throughout the novel. That, for me, the real plus point. I also liked that some chapters focus change. Most of them offer the thoughts of camellia on the action of time while some allow the reader to be in the head of "voyeurs" (I do not know what word to use to describe it). This adds additional tension that does not displease me. Throughout my reading, I wondered who this mysterious character and I was surprised when her identity was finally revealed at the end of the novel. I was not expecting it at all.

The characters are what I like least, especially Camellia and Ben. I am not attached to them (perhaps at the end of the novel, I had some sympathy for the girl). However, I would add that I liked the final outcome of their relationship. I consider him to be original from what I've read the books so far in Young Adults. So no, I have preferred their two best friends from Camellia. I found they had a stronger character and were more colorful. They added a bit of dynamism and humor. I

enjoyed this novel despite its few flaws. This is not a favorite but I spent a pleasant time, without headaches.
