I waited impatiently for the release of this new series. The summary seemed tempting and full of promise. In fact, a vampire who is afraid of blood certifying some funny moments. Livraddict when the proposed partnership, I jumped at the chance to find out. I appreciate being selected as Milady editions.
I expected a lot from this book, particularly in view of humor as I did imply the summary and action. I was really disappointed by these two points. Indeed, some passages are rather boring, they lacked a little bite, surprises ... to drive a little romance. However, it seems to me important to point out, one bit for bed, I was rather surprised that the author develops all the psychology and behavior of characters and relationships with one another. They are well described. The passages in which she referred to the mythology of vampires was interesting, although I remained somewhat skeptical.
I am not at all attached to the characters of the novel and especially the main interested Lissianna or smooth. It struck me as uninteresting. Indeed, it is presented as a young woman with a perfect and wonderful life. She is beautiful, immortal, without financial worries and everyone seemed to love it. It seems to be devoid of any flaws. In a word, any summary, it is too smooth. The only character who managed to find through my eyes is Thomas Lissianna's cousin. It adds a touch of humor, which sometimes was welcome.
The final balance is rather negative, I am really disappointed by this reading. Surely vampires too! I think I'll just stay away from vampires for some time (or find those with Melissa de la Cruz Bloody Valentine ).
